Journal 7/15/04

Right now I am traveling to Virginia to Dad and Julie’s. I am lucky enough to be in the back seat of Dad’s van so that I can do whatever I want. The laptop is plugged into an outlet in the back of the van. It’s working good now. Rob & I are picking up the motor home. Isn’t that a wonderful present? I am excited about being able to get out and see some of the country. When I think about it, a whole new world of possibilities opens up just because we have this vehicle. There’s a lot to learn, but I think we will pick up the basics quickly. Dad and Julie have left pretty much everything stocked and ready to travel. Just add food and clothes and go.

I’ve been stressed out this week and I don’t really know why since we’re on vacation. I think that I still have a suppressed amount of stress over all this medical stuff. It’s been nice to be feeling better and to be living a more normal life. Just having gone for the scan and now waiting for the final report and to hear what Loggie has to say - I think this is what’s raising my stress level. I was doing quite well with getting my own information from the hospital this time until I needed to get a final report instead of the preliminary. Then it took 3 conversations with Greenblatt’s office to get someone to just understand what I needed them to do. Then I got the ‘lecture’ from the nurse that my reports should go thru the doctor’s office. Um yeah right - I don’t agree with that and I am not going to be restricted by that. I didn’t bother to relay that information . Absurd comments especially since I want it in order to send it to the specialist. Makes me want to scream sometimes!!! AHHHH. Stupidness. I should have called Dr. Rippa’s office instead. So I need to just let go and not worry about whether or nor Loggie gets everything he needs this week. I may just have to wait a couple of weeks. I hope that the hospital doesn’t charge me before the final report is done. I may make an argument on that point if this continues. It’s rather ridiculous.
